F-Droid Repository
I'd like to see adguard in some F-Droid repository. This can be either achieved by maintaining a own repo (https://guardianproject.info/2013/11/05/setting-up-your-own-app-store-with-f-droid/) (https://f-droid.org/manual/fdroid.html#Simple-Binary-Repository) or having someone else maintainig it for you
Heh, that's impossible for a closed source app:)
We can do it for https://github.com/AdguardTeam/ContentBlocker though
Actually, you can roll your own repo, even if you have closed source apps. There are some repos with non-free, non open-source software: https://forum.f-droid.org/t/known-repositories/721
Actually, 2 repos would be ideal:
- Main 1 that includes releases & marked βs (which F-Droid UI automatically allows to choose between), as F-Droid does for itself, & could include any/all AGTeam's APKs, such as AGVPNa
- A separate repo, for those of us testing ηightlies, also like F-Droid does (required, 'cuz UI has only binary/toggle option for "Unstable" updates)
@zsoltsandor huh I didn't know about this. Thank you!
This discussion re: publishing β versions should be useful.
Now that IzzySoft's repo no longer carries AG, could this be made higher priority?
