https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardFilters/issues/76464#issuecomment-791286861 it seems that JS rules or scriptlets don't work properly in the extension as they do in the app if you visit the website in the Incognito mode. That's why you got a popup. I will move this task to another repo.

This can also be the case if you visit the site without this mode. The above post is a step to reproduce it for developers.

The problem is only seen in the extension.

What is the current status of this issue? 🤔 Because I had a similar problem in v4.2.159 beta extension.
When we clear website data in the normal mode browser, visit the site like for the first time, no popup. Close and re-open browser and visit the site again, a popup appear. In incognito mode, there is always a popup. Please check the videos:
