Hi @Batman2814
Steps to reproduce described by you indicate that in this case the connection is terminated voluntarily. Please note that Kill Switch does not block access to the Internet when the VPN is manually disconnected. It will only do so if the VPN connection is dropped for technical reasons and without user input.
You can learn more from our Knowledge Base.
Can you reopen this? I did do what you said. I enabled the kill switch and waited for it to disconnect by itself, which it did, and the Kill Switch didn't block the Internet connection.
Hi @Batman2814
We have reopened the issue as you requested. Unfortunately, the logs you sent us are missing the timestamp of the issue. Could you please reproduce the issue again and write down the time it happened, record the debug logs and send them to us with the timestamp? This will greatly increase our chances of identifying the root cause of the issue.
Also, could you please specify under what circumstances VPN disconnects by itself.
I'll redo the logs and send them again.

Hi @Batman2814
Could you please check if the problem still exists in the recently released AdGuard VPN for Windows 2.2 Beta 2, which can be downloaded from the following page? If the problem persists, please record the debug logs from this version and send them to us with a timestamp.
So I downloaded AdGuard VPN for Windows beta, and I haven't seen it disconnect with the Kill Switch on, but I’m still waiting for it to detach on its own to see if the kill switch will block access to the internet. But I have noticed a different behaviour in AdGuard VPN for Windows beta than the AdGuard VPN for Windows release version where when the kill switch is on in beta, it shows the Ethernet symbol at the bottom on the Windows toolbar where it doesn't show it in the release version when the kill switch is enabled.
Hi @Batman2814,
We apologise for the delayed response. Could you please let us know if you were able to catch the issue with Kill Switch on 2.2 Beta or 2.2 Release versions?
As to the Ethernet symbol. This is a new behaviour related to addition of WinTun protocol and is not an issue.
I can test that out and get back to you on that.
For the Wintun, you said that the ethernet symbol doesn't show with it on, but I have Wintun off because there are some issues with the current version of release when enabling it doesn't work by using the wintun. I've been waiting for the next update for when it's fixed, and I'm able to use the wintun.
