Issue Details
I can use adguardvpn to access Google Store and download the software normally. But I can't log in to Google account on my mobile phone, gms.Logically speaking, if you can access Google Store, you should be able to log in to Google account.
Expected Behavior

Actual Behavior
When vpn is turned on, you can access Google through the browser and log in to Google account. But the gms on the mobile phone can't log in. I tried to allow all applications to access through adguardvpn. But I still can't log in to get the status.

@Chaniug I tried this on my device, but it doesn't recur to me. When I open "Account", the "account selection" opens, but everything is displayed correctly.
Could you clarify the path you are using to try to open your account?

Because I am in China. In general. I can open Google Store with other vpn. And you can click to log in to Google account. But after switching adguardvpn. The store can be opened, but the login account will not work, either reporting an error or showing that the network is not connected. Adguardvpn uses the default dns, and then the running mode is compatible with adguard. I also tried adguardvpn standalone mode. But the account problem is still unable to log in. Why don't I record a video and send it to you? Can you give me an email to send the attached feedback questions?
@Chaniug Yes, of course! You can send the video to [email protected].
Don't forget to mention issue number 602.
@maxikuzmin I have already sent an email. Because of the large content of the recorded screen. I uploaded it to onedrive. This is the video link of onedrive. I hope I can help you. https://1drv.ms/v/c/c8b8c85b19b15ac7/Ea0dJhiE33BIu9aEESybIQYBpph89McXaczrRLuJtStYXw
@Chaniug please clarify, have you tried repeating this with other locations? (e.g. US locations)
Are any applications disabled in exclusions?
Try opening your Google account in incognito mode and repeating this to rule out the cache theory. It would be better if you force stop the Clash app before testing.
Do you have any other VPN applications enabled?
@Chaniug any news?
@maxikuzmin I feel that this problem should be Google's problem. I can use it normally by changing a mobile phone. I guess it's a problem with Google's verification. You know, many models in China don't support Google. At present, my other mobile phone can be used normally.
@Chaniug it is unlikely that the issue is with the device, it is possible that some caches are being retained. If you clear the cache in the application/browser, will the issue continue to recur?
@maxikuzmin Clearing the cache or even uninstalling and reinstalling adguard vpn will still have that problem. There will be no problem with the Android 16 version, and you can use adguardvpn to access Google services normally.
@Chaniug reinstalling AdGuard VPN shouldn't really have any effect here, you need to clear the cache of Google apps and browsers.
You also need to check the settings for AdGuard VPN on both devices, as it may work differently due to different configurations.
You should also check the same browsers and compare the versions of Google apps to know for sure what the difference is.
If everything is identical and the only difference is in the Android OS, then it may indeed be the influence of the OS version, but the difference between Android 15 and 16 should not be significant.
@maxikuzmin What I've tried so far. On the old mobile phone: remove gms and reinstall, delete adguardvpn and reinstall. Keep the adguard default settings. Then the same problem will appear. The app in Google Store can be downloaded, but gms can't connect normally. New mobile phone: Android 16 device, you can directly connect to Google by opening adguardvpn, and you can access gms normally. Both mobile phones are glory brands. The only difference is the system. I think this may be a problem for mobile phone manufacturers. It's a ridiculous bug. I have a bold assumption here, that is, the gms component on the old mobile phone may be defective because of the manufacturer's customized system, which leads to the inability of Google service to verify its identity correctly. That old mobile phone is several years old. I have no problems with my new mobile phone now😁.
@Chaniug well, the main thing is that there are no problems now :) Anyway, judging by all the test results, problem lies with the OS, not the AdGuard VPN app, but this is useful information that may help other users
