The problem

Right now I can disable logging for specific clients or disable it for everybody. When a friend or guest is using my network I can see exactly what they were doing and there is no way to prevent this right from the start. I don't want that. It doesn't sit right with me privacy-wise. I don't want to have to tell each one of my visitors that their internet traffic is being logged by me but I feel that doing that without their consent is not right either.

I still want my own clients to be logged in case I need to do some trouble-shooting though.

Right now the only option is to identify each client, log in to the GUI and disable logging specifically for this client. This is quite involved and I can't do that before the client connects for the first time.

Proposed solution

Add an option to enable logging only for select clients and disable it for everybody else.

Alternatives considered and additional information

Anonymizing the IP doesn't help much since it's a very small network and it's still pretty clear and obvious which requests weren't mine.
