Blank window at opening

1.11.22

Environment

- OS: macOS 15.5 release
- Safari version: 18.5

What filters do you have enabled?

Issue Details

Steps to reproduce: Open adguard and you see it without running it at background

Expected Behavior

To open to settings panel correctly from the start

Actual Behavior

a blank window showed up on adguard opening without use login background feature

@JohnnyFireOne, hello! I couldn't reproduce the problem. Have you noticed this problem before updating to the latest version of the app? In order to troubleshoot this issue, we need to get your application logs.

Here's what we need you to do:

  1. Make sure all Safari content blockers are enabled.
  2. Reproduce the problem, then remember the exact time it happened.
  3. Open the extension Settings -> Export logs.
  4. Send the file to [email protected]:
    • include [safari] keyword and 1069 in the subject of your email
    • specify the exact time when the issue occurred

But I have to say if the problem is not recent we're likely not gonna fix it as we're developing new app for Safari, which will be released soon.

Hello I have this problem only with the latest version. Plus I have an proposalto move from electron and go to SwiftUI for more consistency and stability on feature releases

Using AdGuard for macOS for now that doesn't have this issue so it will take sometime...

I send the necessary logs for the Safari version.

Hope we can find a fix on this too!

Plus the window placement issue of Mac version exist on Safari version too! Pleas can you take a look too?

@JohnnyFireOne We didn't find any errors in the log except for rule convertation ones. Does the problem reproduce if you disable all filters in the app?

Well I didn't test that cause I had the necessary filters enabled. The issue happend when there is no background task enable on startup
