Issue Details

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Use Twitch, watch any stream you aren't subscribed to
  2. Watch quality constantly changing back and forth, sometimes it stays at 144p for a minute

Expected Behavior

It seems to be blocking ads, but the constant quality changes are staying up for too long, making the streams nearly unwatchable. It should be transparently blocking.

Actual Behavior

It stays on lower qualities for too long, making it hard to watch anything. I tried both stable and beta. It seems to kind of work on Chromium, at least I haven't noticed the same issue as much.

Screenshots

Can't really take a screenshot of something that would likely require a video

This has nothing to do with the extension, but with Firefox. It is the same in the beta and dev versions. With or without extensions. The only fix is to disable low latency.

I can confirm this error. I suspect that whenever an ad appears and it gets blocked, the video switches to a lower bitrate for about 30 seconds or more. Occasionally, you can also see a box in the top left corner that says "Blocked ads" or something similar. I am also using Firefox.

This is still an issue and for me it never gets fixed unless I disable the extension and watch the add
