i dont know if twitch is combating ad blockers but, I'm getting error 2000 and error 1000, when watching streams, and the errors only goes away after i turn off the extension?
Twitch released a huge anti-adblocker update today and it's breaking the site in various ways for anybody who has any kind of blocker on, no matter the method.
I also faced the same problem. I updated this version to 1.0.694 and restarted the browser and it worked in my environment. Thank you

I did the same but still getting ads today, hopefully it gets fixed.
I've been on the beta for a while now and this stopped blocking ads on Twitch for me today as well.
i have also updated to 1.0.694 and it works only intermittently. i get ads with the adblocker, unfortunately. but, no more lags or network errors
Could you please try to update AdGuard Extra to version 1.0.695, it should be fixed.
Version 1.0.695:
Now there’s no error message, but when the ad is being blocked, the video resolution is 360p and it can’t be changed. That didn’t happen before.
If I'm not wrong, it always worked like that and the resolution was lower during blocking ads, but I'm not able to reproduce issue with changing resolution.
I've been using it daily for months, and before, when an ad played, the resolution stayed at 1080p. And if the resolution dropped during the ad, I could set it back to 1080p. Now, even if I select that resolution, it stays at 360p.
It looks like that it works fine for me.

Does it happen when you are logged out?
I'm signed in and using Chrome. This issue occurs during pre-roll ads.
I'm trying it with this channel: https://www.twitch.tv/veratti
My screenshot was when pre-roll ads were blocked. It looks like that it happens on some channels but not always.
Screenshot
I cannot reproduce it on https://www.twitch.tv/eslcs but happens on https://www.twitch.tv/veratti
Yes, it doesn’t happen to me either on https://www.twitch.tv/eslcs, but it does happen on https://www.twitch.tv/veratti.
It seems like it only happens on some channels. it's strange.
I have checked it out on Firefox with old solution (old script does not cause errors on Firefox) and it looks like that on veratti channel the same happens (there is lower resolution during blocking ads), so it's rather not related to current changes. Maybe Twitch changed something, or it was always like that on some channels.
If Twitch recently released an update to improve its ad block detection system, that could be the issue.
Could you please try to update AdGuard Extra to version 1.0.695, it should be fixed.
not fixed. There are still #1000 errors. Just less frequently.
@AdamWr It looks like Twitch has updated again, currently showing version 1.42.0-rc.3

That's right. The error happens most often during Lirik's streams.
I'm not able to reproduce it, at least not with pre-roll ads.
Screenshot
Maybe it's not new, but just related to mentioned issue or does not occur always.
Probably happens when mid-roll ad is displayed and clicking to reload player seems to fixing it (previously it was not working).
I can reproduce it. I use Win 11 64-bit, the latest version of Edge with Ublock Origin. And no, reloading only helps for a few minutes.
2 minutes later- after reload
I have updated my comment, it seems to happens with mid-roll ads.
And no, reloading only helps for a few minutes.
Yes, that's true. I just mean that after clicking to reload player it works again, previously it didn't work at all.
If you use AdGuard Extra as a userscript, then could you please check if this error (https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdGuardExtra/issues/599#issuecomment-2992366478) still occurs with attached script?
GitHub does not allow to attach .js files so added in zip.
still occurs with attached script?
@AdamWr Is that the modified version? I tested it on Violentmonkey 2.31.0 and haven’t seen the error on Lirik’s stream so far. 🤔
Yes, it's modified version. With this version I also could not reproduce this error.
Thank you for checking it.

Thank you for checking it.
@AdamWr FYI: This error shows up in the console, but it doesn’t cause ads to appear or blocking to fail. 👍

New version (1.0.696) should be available soon.

looks good so far
@AdamWr I'm asking out of curiosity. I didn't quite understand the exact purpose of these streams. However, since I noticed a preroll ad issue specifically with these streams, I wanted to report it and hopefully get some insight. Maybe they can be optimized, or perhaps ignored if there's a reason for these. 🤔
Here’s the list of streams where the preroll ad issue occurs (In each case, the video player starts working normally after about 1 minute.):
Preroll "Ad 1":
twitch.tv/twitchmedia2
twitch.tv/twitchmedia4
twitch.tv/twitchmedia26
twitch.tv/twitchmedia27
twitch.tv/twitchmedia42
twitch.tv/twitchmedia58
twitch.tv/twitchmedia60
twitch.tv/twitchmedia62
twitch.tv/twitchmedia64
twitch.tv/twitchmedia65
twitch.tv/twitchmedia79
twitch.tv/twitchmedia87
twitch.tv/twitchmedia98
Preroll "Ad 2":
twitch.tv/twitchmedia25
twitch.tv/twitchmedia28
Preroll "Commercial break in progress":
twitch.tv/twitchmedia66
twitch.tv/twitchmedia70
Preroll "Preparing your stream":
twitch.tv/twitchmedia67
twitch.tv/twitchmedia69
twitch.tv/twitchmedia71
twitch.tv/twitchmedia72
It looks like some kind of test channels and getting a "backup" video does not work in this case. I'm not sure if it's worth to investigate it, if it works on "normal" channels.
@AdamWr Could you please take a look? Perhaps something has changed on Twitch's end. Maybe it's just a temporary issue. I'm not sure. I’ve noticed it happening from time to time, as if Twitch is testing it by turning it on and off.
This issue affects Chrome/Brave, but Firefox works fine as far as i can see.
