Issue Details

  • ISP Provider (Wi-Fi): CityNet
  • Cellular Provider: Azercell
  • Connection Type: Both Wi-Fi and mobile data
  • DNS Settings: I have tried using AdGuard DNS manually as well as through the AdGuard app, but both methods seem to be affected.
  • Issue Description: Websites fail to load when using AdGuard DNS, and DNS resolution does not work as expected.
  • Affected Devices: The issue occurs across all my devices, including my phone and laptop.
  • Time of Issue: I first noticed the problem recently and it has been persistent since then.

DNS not working. Neither AdGuard DNS iOS profiles, nor AdGuard DNS via AdGuard apps.

Hello, I also encountered this problem, maybe Adguard is blocked in our country.

Yes, it seems to be blocked. We have no idea why to be honest, haven't received anything from them.

Could you please reach out to the ISP and ask what's the reason for that? Also, what about other popular DNS resolvers? Do Quad9, Cloudflare DNS or Google DNS work?

ZD 1064161 I contacted my ISP - Citynet and they told me in an email that no restrictions have been put in place to block AdGuard.

I tried using AZ residential proxies to test it on our side and it seems that all major DNS resolvers are blocked in Azerbaijan: https://dns.google/dns-query and https://1.1.1.1/dns-query also do not work.

I wonder could it be that it only blocks DoH and not DoT/DoQ?

Hi. Google DNS and cloudflare working Azerbaijan. ControlD also working with DOH. But adguard not working , checked DoH also DoT/DoQ. I have keenetic router, does adguard home will work?

Checking with AG Telekom, Google DNS DoH is blocked, AdGuard DNS IP addresses (94.140.14.14, 94.140.14.15) are also blocked.

ControlD is not blocked. Personal AdGuard DNS is also not blocked (the one that is available when you sign up for an account on adguard-dns.io).
