Enable Google safe browsing

Hello, thank you very much for these amazing awesome wonderful DNS !

Please i have suggestion, I use web browser "pale moon" and "Basilisk" web browser and it seems that they don't have option to enable the service " Google safe browsing" to block malware and virus ans phishing and i don't find option in these browsers to enable doh dns over https, so i decide to change the whole dns ot windows 10 os in order to be able to use these web browser and also to block ads because the ad blocker of thse browser don't block ads in some streaming websites so it wll be amazing if our beloved AdGuardDNS could, if possible, integrate the database of he service "Google safe browsing" or integrate google safe browsing to Adguard DNS family beacause some times we use some web browsers that don't have this feature enabled, also i don't know if microsoft edge browser enable this feature of google safe browsing, so by DNS, we could use google safe browsing even with microsoft edge browser and pale moon browser or other browser based on Qt framework....

Also some poeple says dns family protection can be slower than default dns because there are more filters... is it possible to add google safe browsing to the standard AdGuard DNS please ? Thank you !

Ahh i forget , another question please , does AdGuardDNS has protection against cryptocurrency mining ? for example, does AdGuardDNS use the list of zerodot coinblockers filters?

Hello there!

To activate safe browsing, it must be supported by the browser itself, so there is nothing we can do on the AdGuard DNS side

Regarding the family DNS server, I don't think you will notice any difference in speed when using it.

From time to time we update the list of AdGuard DNS filters. If you would like to see a filter in the list, it is advisable to create a request here

Hi @Chinaski1,

We do possibly have an alternative here, and it's to use the Google Safe Browsing api which isn't reliant on the browser, but can be used as an online lookup or via update.

The API has both domain based rules and path based rules meaning at least part of it could be used.

See here for more information: https://developers.google.com/safe-browsing/v4

We could probably reopen this as a feature request if it fits within AdGuard's development scope.

Great ! @Chinaski1 @jslawler Thank you very much for your precious help and very useful precious informaions !

Please I have another sugestion please :

for example I visit this site 20 minutes:

https://www.20minutes.fr/sport/4019996-20230122-equipe-france-giroud-ecrit-benzema-apres-depart-groupe-qatar

and I get a message that I need to disable my adblocker while I am not using an adblocker extension and I am just using standard AdGurad dns that block ads, so my suggestion to avoid this problem is that AdGuard dns Non-filtering servers (version of AdGuard DNS that not block ads, trackers, or any other DNS queries) blocks also phishing malware crypto mining sites by default but does not block ads so we can access sites that detect we are using a dns ad blocker, thank you very much !

I say this because we may not care about ads but we just want to avoid accessing malicious sites so if AdGuard dns Servers not filtering blocks malware and not ads, it will be very useful for many people to avoid viruses malware and int he same time get access to uncensored to sites that require us to disable ad blockers and detect that we are using Dns ad blocker like our belloved amazing AdGurad Dns !

or maybe AdGuard DNS standard should add some sites like 20minutes to a whitelist to not block ads on this kind of sites that detect the ad blocker dns !

Thanks very much !
