Connecting a new smart TV or game console produces a blank page on step 2

The device still gets added to the server, but does not show the connection information that would normally show for step 2 of the connection process.

Having the same issue with Safari Version 15.6 (17613.3.9.1.5). Any way around this for now?

Looks like the feature has been removed for the moment until it's fixed.

You can select any device however, at the end of the day doesn't alter the functionality of the device you're connecting to. When the feature is re-added again, you'll be able to later set it as a Smart TV or game console.
