Firewall
I logged on to RuneScape 3 this morning fine but now it keeps saying that there is a firewall problem an won't connect
That's just what RS3 says if there's any connection issue at all, nothing to do with the launcher. Could be on your end or theirs.

It just seems be with bolt I have no trouble with normal launcher I am on a steam deck to if that could be a cause of a problem

When I've seen this in the past, it's usually because Jagex are blocking the connection - since they proxy the login servers via Cloudflare.
Maybe try logging in on the web page to see if it gives a different result? Failing that, I'd say this is probably one for Jagex support.
