installation on Acer Aspire Switch sw5-011
Has anyone successfully installed on Acer Aspire Switch sw5-011 ? Unfortunately for me, an install on SDcard does not finish, nor on internal disk :/ (I've got the version with 500 GB hard disk, another SDcard which does not boot either, but many MMIO errors when trying to install...).
The distro works correctly in VirtualBox under Win8.1 but this is not optimal :/ I'd prefer to install it natively, even on an usb key if needed...
Issue #5 is about the SW5-012, which I guess is close enough. In any case, there's not enough information in your report to do anything about it.
Hello - installed the latest 082015 on an Acer Switch 10 (Aspire SW5-012 (Aspire SW5-012_0928_1.14)) which should be pretty close.

Basically, boot from USB w/ ISO burned on via OTG adapter plugged into Tablet, ensure you remove all existing linux partitions on mmcblk0 - NOT p1 - your UEFI- you keep that.
Delete paritions via terminal after you live boot. Reboot, install - manually parition disk, keep mmcblk0p1 (your uefi) and make a /boot, swap and /. Then continue install, with hidden OK.
So far this build works amazingly well. Just no sound, and waking/hibernation is a little wonky.
The sound may just need mixer settings - you still have to apply the t100b.state file that's lying around here somewhere for sound on the V8P or T100, it's probably approximately correct for other devices too.
No soundcard on the Switch 10 I'm afraid:

And the system said when I tried that:
