It looks like the latest 1.8 version was manually uploaded into /dist folder. This is not how it works. Please release a proper version

I'm not sure what you mean - the dist folder contains both source and binaries for the latest version. The git repo contains the latest source. What else are you looking for to be "released" and by what method to make it "proper"?

It is in https://github.com/ApertureLabsLtd/mphidflash/releases folder normally. /Dist folder shouldn't be there
