There are no plans for proactive enabling and distro adoption except for Ubuntu. We are open to accepting contributions (pull requests) that unblock support.
We are slowly updating the descriptions to be clearer. We do not intend to publish standalone documentation for debug keys.
At this time we do not intend to provide this.

We are open to include this feature in the driver. We are not able to devote engineering effort to implementation at this time, but would welcome contributions from the community....
