Next day data is not measured when crossing dates

Open cou723 opened this issue 4 years ago • 2 comments

  • [x] I am on the latest ActivityWatch version.

  • [x] I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate.

  • OS name and version: Windows 10 Home 20H2

  • ActivityWatch version: v0.11.0

Describe the bug

As the title says. If the PC is started across dates, the record of the next day will not be reflected. In my environment, this was not solved by restarting the PC itself or restarting the ActivityWatch itself. [Google translate]

To Reproduce

  1. Launch Activity Watch
  2. In that state, wait until the "Start of day" time.(I can't change "Start of day" in my environment, but this is another bug, so I'll omit it here)
  3. No matter what I do after that, nothing is displayed in Timeline, and No Data is displayed in Top Categories and Top Applications.

Expected behavior

I want the data to be monitored as usual. I'm sorry if this is a specification

Documentation

I installed this application using chocolaty, so the C: \ Users \ <USER> \ AppData \ Local \ ActivityWatch folder was missing.

Additional context

I can't write English, so all these sentences are written using Google Translate. I searched for this issue in the issue, but I'm new to English, so it may be a known issue. And it's my first time to send a bug fix on GitHub. Thank you.
