timeline tooltip obstructs view of the timeline itself

When you cover over the timeline, the tooltip that shows up will block the view of the timeline itself, since the position is aligned with the top of the timeline. It would be less obstructive if the tooltip was positioned either above or below the timeline (above or below the mouse cursor would also work).
