Unable to find bucket - hostname set to None
Hello I keep on getting an error message: Unable to find bucket matching 'aw-watcher-window_unknown' (hostname filter set to 'None')
- [ X] I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate.
- [ X] I have searched the documentation and believe that my question is not covered.
Issue
I added the aw-watcher-web-chrome but the hostname is set at Unknown and I cannot figure out how to see activity for the web watcher.
Can you help? I have not been able to find any instructions or fixes.
Hi there! As you're new to this repo, please make sure you've used an appropriate issue template and searched for duplicates (it helps us focus on actual development!). We'd also like to suggest that you read our contribution guidelines and our code of conduct. Thanks a bunch for opening your first issue! 🙏
Seems the devs are aware of this issue.
For me the issue was literally just that "Hostname" (under "show options") was set to None instead of my PC name.
Presumably that's not your issue, but might be for some people landing here from google.
The error appears when opening http://localhost:5600/#/settings/category-builder (which is linked from the activity screen: "High uncategorized time: You have a total of 2h 44m 18s uncategorized time, that's 48% of all time today. You can address this by using the Category Builder.")
It happens when there is a bucket without a hostname.
One source for the hostname-less bucket was the browser extensions, but there is another one: Stopwatch.
As soon as I click on the "stopwatch" link in the web interface, a new bucket without hostname is created: aw-stopwatch, with unknown hostname.
Now the categorization view shows the error again, until I manually remove the stopwatch bucket from the raw data.

@ErikBjare please reopen.
The problem is not that there are buckets with an unknown hostname, but that unknown is selected as the hostname in the Category Builder options.
For me, however, it correctly selects my computer's hostname (by default)...
And it doesn't show the error when I have aw-stopwatch or aw-watcher-web-firefox in buckets.
@cweiske Btw, the advice to delete all buckets with unknown hostname is not an ideal solution, since people may lose their data from web watchers (< 0.5.0), editor watchers, etc.
Any help with this? I'm stuck with this issue...
@AGoldenDragon Please open a new issue describing your problem as accurately as possible :)
