Docs on expanding the canvas are incomplete

The easiest way to expand the canvas is to use Krita’s crop tool (hotkey: C) and click anywhere into the image. You can now resize the canvas at the sides.

The docs don't mention you should also check the Grow checkbox in the Tool Options if it is unchecked. Otherwise, you can't expand the canvas.

Is that disabled by default? I don't remember having to enable that, but I might have done it long time ago...

Looks like it is checked by default in Krita 5.2.13.
