Autosave for Gen images
Why is there no autosave option for AI images? The autosave for files do not matter at all because the images are only stored in RAM. I already lost lots of my images twice very frustratingly because saving the files does not guarantee any protection for the images. Even when increase the RAM history size values, it does not seem to do anything. Just randomly destroys my work when I close or turn of the computer because it randomly decides its too many images even when I do not surpass the History File values. Not to mention the ones I accidentally delete because of the retrd that put "save image" next to "discard image". I generate 1k images in two days, because I try to find the best ones and edit them. Only thing I can do is to save and unzip the save as .zip every hour and take the files out. That's how stupid it is. Completely unacceptable for such a great program.
There are two settings:
- "Active History Size" for how many images are stored in RAM while Krita is open
- "Stored History Size" for how many images are stored inside the document (.kra file) that is saved on disk
History is stored when you save and also when Krita auto-saves (every few minutes).
Can't really tell from you description if you think there is a bug or it just dropped old images after going after the max memory...
I generate 1k images in two days, because I try to find the best ones and edit them.
That sounds terribly inefficient, and yea batch generation of hundreds of images isn't really purpose or goal of this plugin... there are many tools to get better results

How difficult is it to add an autosave option for gen images? I know this plugin has a lot of different benefits but one of them is having the clear and simple interface of krita, that's clearly a purpose since automatic and comfy are a mess. I do not generate them all in one batch, I constantly change the lora values and prompts. and I do use the editor for inpainting and refining (I'm new here so I haven't used as much yet), but the UI and interface is a significant reason why I chose Krita over the others.
Also I like to separate my work. Gen first, and then the editing afterward. Its much faster. I know the "purpose" is to draw first, but on top of speed, checkpoints are made to adapt to certain poses, and leaving the model to draw first from a prompt and later edit them and then refine them again creates good consistent images.
