Schemaverse.com site is cannot be reach
Henlo, i try to get in in schemaverse site but the error say cannot be reach
@Abstrct , Is project still alive? Or have u abandoned this game?
Unfortunately, the future is looking bleak.
Abstrct's website is also down. His account made a commit this month.
I'm still around, but our host went out of business :(
We've been looking for a new home for schemaverse for a while not but no luck yet. Haven't given up though!
I know this is old, but I would love to see this game be revived. It was always enjoyable.
With the source available, it's possible to run your own instance of Schemaverse on your own Postgres installation
Oh yeah, good call! I will have to play around with that.
I'm currently updating the Docker container build, would appreciate PRs: https://github.com/frozenfoxx/docker-schemaverse
Hi @frozenfoxx ! Thanks for updating your container!
Do you know if there are any specific problems its having that I can help with?
I feel like user creation tends to be a blocker for a lot of people but I might be wrong.

The latest container built okay after updating it to an Ubuntu 24.04 base, but you'll want to run it to make sure it works as you need it to.
Under Add a Player there's instructions for a script for adding players. We can also add additional scripts if needed.
Relatedly, back when I was doing AI development for Schemaverse I built a Python tool called schemaverse-dojo. It's a wrapper for Docker and will deploy multiple instances, prepopulate with players, everything you need.
Coooool! I'm definitely going to dig a little deeper into that.
Although I'd like to run a SV server again, maybe a more important next step would be revamping the schemaverse.com page to focus on documentation (running your own and playing), and then even listing community servers too.
