Does not remember cookies

When trying to annotate on a new website, it again asks for signup/ login even though I have already done that on previous website.

Update: It remembers cookies on turning off the strict tracking protection and setting the custom one. Is there a workaround for this, like adding an exception for hypothes.is while keeping the strict settings enabled?

The same dilemma. This plugin is the best Hypothes.is plugin I can find on Firefox, hoping to solve this problem.

There is a potential urlClassification header that determines tracking. Hopefully, that's enough in bypassing the cookie filter.
