Black screen on every fdi files m3u does not load... black screen hdi works
Before checking, build for Windows was not successful. I fixed. Sorry.
Loading the .m3u file seems to work good. How about?
Please tell me you using OS. And FDimage start -> FDD2 mount trying, with F12 NP2 menu.
Regard.

Could you try this latest NP2kai core? http://domisan.sakura.ne.jp/np2kai_libretro_6c1b630.zip (Put np2kai_libretro.dll to C:\Users(usename)\AppData\Roaming\RetroArch\cores)
This core include fix file path by libretro’s user.

Still not launch any *.fdi ore *.m3u
I tried my Windows 10 English International, with 5304a3c failed to load. I think this problem has existed before.
I update NP2kai to using path included Japanese character. Please try this.
Probably spaced name file was read correctly. I fixed.
I do not know what to do, but since this version "ver.0.86 kai rev.21 5304a3c" m3u and fdi/fdd/d88 are not working; nothing is changed. (Retroarch Windows Version)
I'm sorry to you made wait long time. I was inspecting code.
After 5304a3c and 0b8b59c was released. I think, I moded about image files taking when 4193451 , was bad. Then a2698ae released, I heared 'cannot open file', 'file clashed'... This probrem you said is seems adverse effect by 4193451.
I fixed to problem filename include space file. And pull requested to libretro. Please just a moment.
I fixed that 'read only floppy image' can be opened (and set protect flag).
The Libretro core has the option to change the disk, but the m3u lists cannot be loaded from the menu, because in the types of files that the core supports, the m3u does not appear, which prevents the loading of said files.
They can be forced to load by command line, but not by menu. A simple oversight to repair.
Thanks.
I found the way to make floppies load in np2kai. Go in retroarch system directory then in np2kai directory here rename de file d8000.rom to d8000.rom.back( just to have a backup)
looks like np2kai doesn't need it
from now on your floppies will load. I tested and it works, it works with hdi too.
