[Feature Request]: Separate embedding directories for v1 and v2 models

What would your feature do ?

Since loading an embeddind based on the wrong model causes errors, instead of a single embeddings directory, there should be a separate set of embeddings for v1.x and v2.x based models.

When loading a model, there would need to be a check as to which model version it is based on, and then load the appropriate set of embeddings.
