Do not change attention of selected text when shift key is being held down
When editing lots of text in a large textarea, one usually uses the shift-key+arrow to quickly select blocks of text. This is a standard way of moving around and editing text in Linux, Windows and the Chrombook I'm typing this on, and I use it all the time without even thinking about it.
It seems like some changes to this webui have now broken these standard mechanisms of doing this, making the prompt editor frustrating to use for me.
Using shift to select blocks of text doesn't work as it should in the prompt editor. If you select a block of text while holding shift, it will break as soon as you press the up or down key whilst also holding shift. It places brackets around the selected text and increases/decreases the attention. What it should do is allow you to quickly select multiple lines of text.
This could be fixed by not changing attention when the shift key is also being held down.
Also, I'm editing some text in the prompt box and I can feel it lagging as I'm trying to use ctrl+arrow-keys to quickly jump between words and as I type words. I suspect an event listener on the prompt field is slowing it down
+1 on this, adding brackets () requires shift also on most keyboards, and it makes it impossible to type them
