[Bug]: Scripts not working, TypeError: Script.run() missing X required positional arguments
Is there an existing issue for this?

What happened?
any script i select and run get the follwoing error
TypeError: Script.run() missing X required positional arguments, when X is the # of arguments that the script should have.
cant run any script

- Select any script
- Try to run
- .Get exception

i have reinstalled and this issue not happening, probably i massed up something
The same happened to me. After reinstalling everything, it was SO SLOW and the quality of the images was way worse. I don't know what happened :(
Problem happened to me after updating to latest Automatic1111 (v1.4.0) on multiple installs. Only tested with X/Y/Z Plot scripts.

Edit: I downgraded to commit 5576a72 and it fixed the issue (I didn't tried later commits beside commit d5a5f2f which also had this issue).

git checkout and the number of the commit?
I downloaded only the script and it still didn't work properly. I noticed downloading the cfg rescale extension somehow broke the software. I went down a rabbit hole of versions of everything and now it is worst than I first started, but better than what it became ahahha The battle goes on

I am having the exact same issue after upgrading to 1.4.1. It happens with every script regardless of which one.
- try disabling SD-CN-Animation extension
- if this doesn't help try disabling all other extensions one after another
Mov2mov extension also creates same problem for me. Try removing extensions one after another as zven73 said. You can try starting with ones that weren't updated for quite some time.
Please refer to this issue. I have found the cause of this issue and a possible fix, which is related to stable-diffusion-webui\modules\scripts.py.

mov2mov was the last extension I downloaded before everything crashed, even after deleting it. Makes sense

Just disable SD-CN extension and it will work fine. at least that's my case
It's up to the extension authors to maintain compatibility with older/newer versions. This is not a webui issue. Open an issue in the respective extension repos if the problem persists.
I uninstalled SD CN Animation Extension >> Restart >> It works again. I'm using lastest version of all extensions and Auto1111 (1.5.2)
