Extension crashes frequently

Added a note in the issue. The crashing is happening more frequently, and doesn't need coverage to fail. The extension is predominantly in a "crashed" state, rendering it useless ☹

I agree with [atomicrobokid](https://github.com/atomicrobokid). It's already silly that "ShadowDom" as defined currently by the Angular team doesn't behave like the spec and causes significant bloat. We absolutely need this option...

Hitting this now. Looks like a previous bug was filed but incorrectly closed: https://github.com/primefaces/primeng/issues/18080 This is definitely an issue within primeng's select functionality.
