Blank page signing in to Askbot-powered site via Google on iPad

Just to be clear, the problem I saw was that after clicking the Google sign in link I then saw nothing but a blank page. So the problem is that whatever page the Google sign in redirects to just breaks on ipad (and probably all iOS), at least for me the day I tried this. In any case, it’s worth testing to see if you can replicate and adding to your issue tracker.

This looks like an incorrect configuration at ask.sagemath.org. The code involved in log-in, and especially registering new users can become stuck if system configurations are wrong or incomplete. I have seen a lot of white pages myself and I believe this is Askbot/Django raising and catching exceptions while using fallbacks, which ultimately result in an HTTP 200 message sent to the user without any payload.

This can be considered an issue, because there are problems with the deployment which are neither detected nor reported by Askbot.
