Set Filedate with post__published
Just a good quality of life thing that Cyberdrop does, but could you have the saved files amend the Created Filename date to the date listed in the post via post_published?
Makes it easier to scroll through content in an orderly way knowing what's most recent etc.

Ah, I misunderstood. I thought you meant changing the File Created Date in the file metadata on the file system. This would've been Windows only.
What you actually meant was appending the date to the end of the file names. I'd rather not do that by default, but a dedicated option like --append_dates or something would be thinkable.
Oh apologies if I made it confusing but yes having the metadata set is definitely the better option. At least then it's sortable, and it should work with other OS's too, as I know OSX currently does with with Gallery-DL
The with changing the file metadata is with file system support. This means some users might not benefit from this feature at all, but on the other hand it could be implemented without the need for a dedicated command line flag. I will have to do some research on this, and I'm busy with university, too... So please don't expect this feature to be implemented anytime soon.
