I have exactly the same problem. Tested on an iPhone 12 Pro running iOS 15.2.1 and an iPhone 5S running iOS 12.5.5

Is there an alternative method for obtaining the necessary keys? (And not via the Tuya IOT platform - there is a cross border issue with that at the moment).

I have the same issue. It says the same thing in the log, and the app complains about no internet connection...

Just got this link from someone on reddit… All up and working now… they are a little out of date as the Tuya website has changed a little… https://github.com/iRayanKhan/homebridge-tuya/wiki/Get-Local-Keys-for-Your-Devices

How did you get this working? When I followed that method to pull the "local key" values, I get this error in the Homebridge log: [TuyaLan] (key shown here), key for Light 1 (device id shown here), is not a valid key. [TuyaLan] (key shown here), key for Light 2 (device id shown here), is not a valid key. [TuyaLan] (key shown here), key for Light 3 (device id shown here), is not a valid key. [TuyaLan] (key shown here), key for Light 4 (device id shown here), is not a valid key.

Is there any other way to pull the device key, at least now that I have the device ids?
