They mentioned in the README that they are no longer actively working on this project. They have no obligation to respond to bug reports for a project they chose to no longer support.

Then why not close the project and close the repository!?

@tapochek666 Just because they don't plan on working on the project anymore doesn't mean they have to delete or archive the repo. A note left on the README is enough. They might come back and work on it later, who knows?
