Vivaldi closes tabs when "enable only" action is performed
When I manually paste some website's name in a new tab and have rules that automatically launch extensions for that website, this tab just crashes/closes. The only way to open this website would either be from google search or from internal Vivaldi explore menu. Could it be that the extensions get enabled too soon? Unfortunately this limits my use of this great feature that allows me to save some toolbar real estate as well as resources by unloading unused extensions
Vivaldi: 1.10.867.42 (Stable channel) (64-bit)
Hi here, I tried this at Chrome and Cent browser and it works fine, I will try it on Vivaldi soon. Thank you for telling me!
I've also tested the newer 1.11.890.4 (Official Build) (64-bit) build, but it has the same issue. And yes, you're right, Chrome doesn't suffer from this issue
Hi, I tested using an old version Vivaldi 1.7.735.27 (Official Build) (64-bit) And it works fine, I match ainoob.com with enableOnly for one extension, and have no issue.
But now I updated to Vivaldi 1.10.867.42 (Stable channel) (32-bit) And I notice the same problem.
It turns out that somehow when you enter the new address, Vivaldi will update the address to old one again.

So I don't know if there is a simple solution. You are right, you can think of it as NooBoss is refreshing too fast. I think I will ask Vivaldi team, because it does not happen in Chrome. However, I do notice that Chrome will update several times too, but all goes to the new url, so it's fine.

Anyway, I do think I should be able to fix it, but it might take sometime.
Thank you again for telling me!
Yeah, it turns out this cannot be easily changed unless I write some code that work specifically for Vivaldi, which is reasonable, but I don't know if Vivaldi will change the name again. Anyway, I will make an update within 1 hour, and if possible, please tell me if future version of Vivaldi does not work.
Thanks!
Got a bad news, Valvadi somehow return previous url on the tab, I will ask their team about this, and yeah, I cannot fix this easily.
Ok, thanks for quick updates! Will meanwhile try to transition to using "quick commands" explorer for typing website names as well.
Just wanted to ping you re whether you've got any good news from Vivaldi (I've updated recently to Vivaldi 2.0 and unfortunately this issue still persists)? Thank you
Hi, so right now I am not actively developing NooBoss, sorry about it. I am not sure when will I start working on this again.
Thanks, AInoob
