UTF8 problem with special display names

As soon as a profile contains a non ascii char, e.g. display name of Foo Liĉor etc, the whole login breaks. It will store the social_profile record and the user record with the proper name, but then the login itself fails afterwards, probably a github connection issue here?

After using normal ascii for the display name of that person, it worked again just fine to log in..
