Credit card autofill?

Just wondering if autofilling of credit cards in browsers is meant to work? I'm using Fennec (the opensource build of Firefox Android) and it doesn't prompt to fill credit cards. I have no idea if this is a thing that's meant to work of is broken due to configuration. It's certainly a feature I miss since switching from 1Password
