Controllable blur on backgrounds

Found AcDisplay yesterday; as my Xperia Z2 doesn't feature full screen media art in the lockscreen for some reason (I am on version 4.4.4 though, but that's besides the point), this app has become my new lockscreen, and I don't really like having the beautiful album art blurred, however, I like having my launcher wallpaper blurred. What would be nice is to have options in the lockscreen settings that allow to tweak blurring to our likings, if possible.

PS: Yes, I want to have a "as stock as possible" lockscreen because I love it and it's beautiful, but bootloader being locked by the carrier I can't install ROMs ... :(

I was reviewing the code and this can be possible? @AChep I've seen that the Album Art is resized to a smaller size then blurred (to improve performance(?)) So, if this blur gets removed, and the album art does not get resized it'll affect performance? Or why is the album art resized?
