Have you tried to change your network in `Settings > Player > Network engine` I find using `Cronet` to be a great choice
I've noticed the same, It appears to be different for each instance, An Invidious instance issue? I've also noticed none of which show live streams anymore on my end.

Invidious has had a pull request for some time now. I am not much of a coder otherwise I would be contributing. Maybe others are willing to help solve this...

I had 1 403 error on the previous version, Then updated to the new recent version 22.78 Beta of ST, Now getting 403 loops followed by spinning wheel.

I have the same issue on a Nvidia Shield 2017 running firmware 8.2.3 in 23.13 Beta, Black screen followed by a flash of the video, Then a few seconds later...
Tested with 22.95 Stable, Uploaded videos seem to play right away, Live streams still have the black screen delay.
