Excessive mobile data usage

My app used about 800MB of data over one moth (without the wifi) I have only 2 channels backup to Google drive is on. for comparison 'Bitcoin lightning wallet" only used 70MB with 1 channel and backup to Google drive.

Hello,

This app computes payment routes on-device to protect your privacy. To do so it needs to keep an up-to-date view of the network's routing table. With the current version, this can mean quite a high data usage.

We are working on this, and data usage will be much improved with the syncing mechanism described in the pull request #557 in the Lightning RFC.
