2 issues happened when adding pictures

  1. I uploaded a picture whose size is only 234 kb but it cannot be shown on Anki image

  2. When there is only a picture inside the toggles, I mean no text blocks, the sync doesn't work. The add-on said no new notes on Notion.

Could you help me see what happen here? And thank you so much for this work! Great work!

It becomes very complicated now. I'll show you what I did step by step. So first I updated it to the latest version. Then,

  1. I clicked on "load notes" or "load notes and remove obsolete", they both crashed Anki in the first several try. But it didn't happen again after. So maybe it's fine now?
  2. I downloaded a random picture from Unsplash by the picture block and uploaded a pic whose size is 305 kb from my computer. image
  3. I clicked on "load notes", it didn't work. image
  4. I clicked on "load notes and remove obsolete", it didn't update any new notes but delete the former 7 notes which are still on my Notion right now. The notes in step 2 are notes No.8&9. image
  5. I deleted the notes from step 2 on my Notion and clicked on "load notes". Finally, it reloaded the former 7 notes. image
  6. But the issue is the tags disappeared which I had to clicked on "load notes" again to bring them back. image
  7. So I uploaded the same picture in the "test2" toggle block which you can see from step 2 again and clicked on "load notes" again, and this time it worked! It created a new notes and successfully showed the picture which I mentioned was bug in my last comment.
  8. However, when I downloaded a random picture from Unsplash on Notion like the "test1" toggle block in step 2. Everything went back. I mean, I clicked on "load notes" again, and it won't work. Then I clicked on "load notes and remove obsolete", it directly deleted my 8 notes including the new notes from step 7 without creating the new note. image

So I guess the issue comes from Unsplash? Sorry for this long post, just want to help you reap this scene

Plus, I also found another issue! It always create a new same card when I finished studying. More specific, when I finished studying all 7 cards in this deck just now, it duplicated the first card by itself. And this happened all the time. image

It's fine. Thank you for your work!!! And today I found another issue.

So, I have a structure like this:

  • Toggle father A
  • Callout block
  • Text A (which should be the back side of Anki)
  • Toggle son B (which is the translation of another language. I mean text A and B is same thing in different languages)
  • text B

Then, when I load notes, it has the following issues:

  1. It imported Toggle son B when I put "❕" in toggle father A.
  2. When I put "❕" in toggle father A and toggle son B, it still imported Callout.
  3. When I put "❕" in toggle son B, it didn't import toggle father A as front side but text A, and it also imported text B as back side.

Totally a mess under this condition 😂 and when I deleted this page ID in the configuration and after I clicked on "load notes and remove obsolete", Anki crashed

I think it's better to fix it or add a note in case. Thank you!
