Change fastboot flash command
I followed this guide and it worked but I had to slightly change this 1 command or else there was this error:
$ sudo fastboot flash boot boot-linaro-sid-dragonboard-410c-933.img
fastboot: error: Couldn't parse partition size '0x'.
$
@ndechesne is this something being required now, I ran fastboot on a RB3 a few weeks ago and this wasn't the situation.
No, I wouldn't expect that.. what version/distro of fastboot are you using?
I use the Arch package android-tools 30.0.5-3
$ sudo fastboot --version
fastboot version 30.0.5p1-android-tools
@alimon, what do you think?
@alimon, what do you think?
@Erikvv I remember see this error with newer versions of platform-tools of Android, I'm using platform-tools_r29.0.5-linux.zip from https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools.
What kind of response do you expect?
ah. I quickly scrolled and didn't see this. But I do not see any issues with fastboot on Ubuntu:
fastboot version 1:8.1.0+r23-5ubuntu2
