App does not work(change windows client)
Yep, same here...
Hi, thanks for your feedback. Seems to be a more widespread problem. Unfortunately I cannot reproduce it with my devices until now
pls send me the following details:
- app version
- does it work with an older version (check releases tab)?
- phone android version
- phone model
- if webview is up to date (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.webview)
- does the app have the storage permission?
@nikunjsingh93 @llabusch93 any news? have you tried an older version, eg. 1.7.1? If this did not fix the issue, pls answer the above questions
Hi @92lleo When i tried in my different tablet it worked fine. Maybe it is fixed now
I'm experiencing the same issue on my Samsung Tab S7+. I can still use the app by putting it in pop up mode or in side-to-side view. It seems that the message overview bar is hidden when the display size of the app is too large. I attached a few screenshots.
I really hope you can solve that. It's the only good way to use whatsapp on my tablet, everything else is utter trash. :( I'd be so greatful.
Same here with v1.7.2. Samsung S6 lite tablet, android 12. Version 1.7.1 works OK.
I wonder if the lack of sidebar is the result of this commit https://github.com/92lleo/WhatsappWebToGo/commit/d4cc27d8cbe6e6ce8bc847728380bf4213092805 , as it seems the only one related to modify the view elements on screen (going from 1.7.1 to 1.7.2).
It seems there was an attempt to fix the tablets issue at https://github.com/92lleo/WhatsappWebToGo/commit/92005b59f4c984f3ce06a447b34500ab1c88b139 but not incorporated in any apk. Maybe is worthy to generate a beta release from master just to test this specific issue?
Same issue for me on a Samsung Tab s6 lite. Just like marvinmai docking it fixes the issue for me and the app works perfectly as long as it's docked, thank you!
