In One UI 7 Split Mode, partial Home / Recent Apps gesture kills split with error

Open dedrop opened this issue 7 months ago • 0 comments

Describe the bug

Since Samsung's Galaxy One UI 7 update, if you set gesture navigation, split two apps, then start the Go Home / Recent Apps swipe up gesture but pull it back to place, the split dies with the error "App does not support split screen". Doing the gesture fully works. This only happens with Niagara is the default launcher, not with One UI Home (Samsung's default).

Steps to reproduce

  1. Set Niagara as the default launcher.
  2. Set navigation type to gestures (in Settings > Display > Navigation bar).
  3. Open two apps in split mode.
  4. Swipe up slightly from the bottom of the screen as if starting a Go Home or Recent Apps gesture, but then pull back and return the apps you were swiping up to place. The split will go away and flash the error "App does not support split screen".

Does the issue also occur with other 3rd-party launchers?
