No haptics when opening the Agenda

Open NotoriousNico opened this issue 8 months ago • 3 comments

Describe the bug

I have installed Niagara Launcher v1.13.13 on my OnePlus 13. Haptic feedback is enabled in Niagara Launcher's settings as well as my system settings.

However, when opening the Agenda, I don't get any haptic feedback. Other haptic feedback in Niagara Launcher works as expected. I'm a Niagara Pro user.

According to /checkvibration, my OnePlus 13 supports light haptics. The release notes didn't specify what else is needed to support haptics when opening the Agenda.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install v1.13.13
  2. Make sure haptic feedback is on
  3. Open the Agenda

Does the issue also occur with other 3rd-party launchers?

The issue also occurs with v1.13.14.

@8bitPit

Am I doing something wrong here? Could you please have a look?

Sorry for the confusion. Your phone might not support the "Spin" haptics effect we use for the dialog, you can check that through this secret command: https://niagaralauncher.app/app-link/secret-command?cmd=hapticsplayground. Now that you opened this issue, it might make sense to offer a fallback haptic feedback effect.

Thank you for your reply.

And you are right, my phone doesn't support the "Spin" haptics effect. I think a fallback solution is the way to go here.
