Open full weather app from Niagara widget

Currently we can access the calendar app by pressing the up arrow in the Niagara widget's menu. It would be nice if something similar was provided for the weather app.

Describe the solution you'd like

Some kind of small button in the "Your Agenda" menu that takes you to the full weather app, just like there is one to take you to the calendar app.

That would be great, and also being able to set your personal default weather app in the Niagara widget settings for people using 3rd party apps. Update: Niagara could also ask for this first time the weather widget is opened and clicked. If it opened the Android app picker (if this can be done for all installed weather apps), the user can choose to save their choice or open the chosen apps. (This would be preferable by users like me who use two weather apps for different info.)

This should then link to the weather app from both pressing the Niagara widget weather info and weather in Calendar agenda view.

I need this feature too. it's weird click the weather icon but nothing opened

Came to make essentially the same request. Want to open a weather app by tapping on the weather at the top of agenda (for when I want more detailed weather information).

Updated my comment to add that Niagara could ask for the preferred weather app when the weather widget is opened and pressed on.

+1 I know we can install OpenWeather app that will be opened once the Niagara weather widget is clicked. However, many of us are using other weather apps and it would be great to be able to open those apps from built-in Niagara widget.
