Amount of whitespace in the list should be customizable.

independently between categories would also be a plus

Yes, I'd like this too. Specifically, I'd like to be able to adjust the vertical spacing of the app entries in the full A-Z list.

To better plan ahead and to give users an estimate which features will be added to Niagara, I’ve decided to close all feature requests that that are unlikely to be implemented in the next year (2020). This is one of those, unfortunately. I'm sorry. Feel free to open this ticket again in 2021 or later.

As mentioned a few years back the default spacing of icons on the homescreen does limit you if you want to show more apps / folders at any given time you can't adjust it. On the homescreen particularly where you have favourited apps and created folders it can mean you have to scroll. There may be users who want to do the opposite and have even fewer apps and folders on their home screen for a super clean and minimal look.

The app list also is impacted by this especially for users with a high number of apps.

It would be helpful to have a slider to adjust icon spacing to either reduce the gap to fit in more apps or increase the gap for that more minimal look.

A second slider for the app list woudl be helpful to reduce the distance from the default and fit in more apps. I'm not sure there is a benefit of increasing the space for the app list.

It's been raised a few times in the past. Hopefully it can be addressed. Thanks

After googling and searching in Discord for info on this feature, it doesn't seem to be as requested as I thought it would be... but I think being able to adjust the padding between favorites on the home screen would be awesome. Gives some flexibility on the amount of icons you can have on the home screen but still fill out the space the way you want.
