Feature Request - Option to Disable Frequently Searched Results
Is your feature request related to a problem?
I've noticed that there is no built-in option in Niagara Launcher to disable frequently searched results. This feature would provide users with more control over their search experience within the app
I often find it inconvenient to have frequently searched results displayed, and while Sesame Integration is suggested as an alternative, having a native option within Niagara Launcher settings would be more user-friendly
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to request the addition of a toggle in the app settings that allows users to disable frequently searched results. This would enhance the customization options within the app and improve the overall user experience
I appreciate the suggestion to use Sesame Integration by Tg group admins but having a native solution within Niagara Launcher would be preferable for many users. Thank you for considering this feature request.
Feature Request Procedure

Thank you for your report. Can you share more details about your issue? We would like to better understand your use case and what's bothering you with the current behavior. The frequently searched for and last results only show when the search bar is empty and disappear once you start typing. Is there a specific reason why this is problematic in your experience, do you wish for other things to be displayed there, or do you find it unnecessary and prefer a more minimalistic approach?
@NiagaraSupport
Thank you for your prompt response. The reason I'd like to disable frequently searched results is privacy concerns, (eg. I have hidden some apps but when i search them they appear on the searched list) While I appreciate the suggestion to use Sesame Integration, I believe having a native option within Niagara Launcher settings would enhance the overall user experience.
