Search improvement - frequently searched and last result - Is it really an improvement?!

Is your feature request related to a problem?

I really don't see this improvement as improvement. For me it's more an imposed feature I don't like! I liked the Search clean, only showing the recently installed. The addition of "frequently searched" and "last result" really bother me and I'd like to have a way to turn this off if I'm to continue using the launched (which I otherwise love a lot!)

Have a toggle in settings to turn this off, similar to how " Suggest often used apps" works.

On purpose, I didn't put any social media apps on my home screen to reduce my time spent on them. [...] I tend to mindlessly open the search bar and access the apps from the search history instead.

I just want to add my vote for this; from a digital well-being perspective, it would be fantastic to be able to turn off all app suggestions (in my opinion, this includes "recently installed") under the search bar

I am happy to finally let you guys know that the Smart Suggestions as we are calling them now, are going to be togglable starting with v1.13.8. You can find the toggle when opening the search > tapping the three dots in the upper right corner > Smart Suggestions.
