Don't have Niagara button apps show up in favourites

Allowing you to assign any app to the Niagara button is a nice feature - it adds a bit more functionality to the homescreen.

However, I've noticed that because I use the button often (I've set it to open Chrome), Chrome has now ended up at the bottom of my favourites list (likely as part of the helpful Niagara algorithm that places commonly used apps at the bottom of the favourites list).

This isn't the end of the world, but it's a bit of redundancy that really renders the Niagara button useless. Now I just have Chrome sitting in my favourites list anyway, so don't need it to be set to the Niagara button. And I anticipate that if I now go and change the button function that the whole redundancy process will begin anew.

Sooooo: I recommend setting the favourites algorithm to ignore whatever app(s) are set to the Niagara button.

Thanks, Matt

Fair point. I guess a better title would be

Don't suggest (frequently used) apps that are assigned to the Niagara button

Although, as far as I've seen, Niagara doesn't suggest hidden apps (which I'm not sure if it's on purpose or not), so if you've assigned Chrome to the button you could hide the app from the app list to achieve the same effect

Good point, it should probably exclude apps on the button from suggestions, just like the favorites themselves. I'll look into it.
