[Error] modprobe looking for host kernel modules instead of guest
Describe the bug
When I do modprobe vhci_hcd in the guest I get:
modprobe vhci_hcd
modprobe: FATAL: Module vhci_hcd not found in directory /lib/modules/6.14.8-300.fc42.x86_64
which is perfectly reasonable as the guest shows:
% ls -al /lib/modules
total 0
drwxr-xr-x. 1 root root 44 May 31 23:56 .
dr-xr-xr-x. 1 root root 968 May 31 23:56 ..
drwxr-xr-x. 1 root root 772 May 31 23:57 6.14.8-200.fc41.x86_64
Why is the guest trying to pick up the kernel modules of the host?
To Reproduce
modprobe vhci_hcd when host and guest have differing operating systems.
Expected behavior
modprobe vhci_hcd should try to pick up modules from the guest kernel.
