Halo Gradient feature obstructs title bar interaction

Open CircaCipher opened this issue 2 years ago • 5 comments

When enabling the halo gradient feature in the style settings plugin, I can no longer interact with the title bar buttons (the minimize/maximize/close window buttons, etc) until I re-disable the feature.

This is a really beautiful feature regardless. Can't wait to see what else you have in store for this theme!

Oh snap, thanks for letting me know! I will try to get something pushed for that soon(tm). Thanks for trying it out! As you can tell, very much still a work in progress ahaha

Really quickly, are you on Windows, OSX, or Linux?

Having some trouble reproducing on Windows 🤔

I'm on Windows 11👍

I have noticed that when halo gradients are enabled that the title bar elements appear dimmer/more transparent than normal. I dunno if that's helpful at all. I'm assuming it's an intentional design choice, but I may be wrong.

In-case one of my plugins was causing the issue, I just created an fresh vault with only Ultra Lobster and Style Settings and the issue persists. No idea what else I can do to troubleshoot the issue on my end.

Switching the window frame style in Appearance settings from Obsidian frame to Native frame lets me use the title bar with halo gradients enabled. So perhaps it could be related to Obsidian's frame style implementation? Idk.

Obviously the native frame style leaves much to be desired compared to Obsidian's frame style.
