feature request: Flatpak App

Problem Description / Use Case
The desktop Linux client is finicky
Proposed Solution
Package the desktop client as a Flatpak app and upload it to the Flathub store. Flatpak is a distro agnostic application platform and works very well. Steam has a Flatpak version that works great for example. It would simplify desktop clients on Linux distros. You can even setup your own Flatpak repo outside of Flathub if you don't want to use Flathub. Also, it is worth noting that Flatpak is a sandboxed platform so users can generally feel safer knowing that the app is in a sandbox and can designate the things it has access to

Like what @KRDucky said, there is applications like, Stremio, Jellyfin, Plex, Kodi, and much more on flathub as a flatpak, this would not limit the application, although, parts could get tricky as you said.

maybe integrate the player into the flatpak app instead of opening it in a separate window?
